THIS GRANT INCLUDES $500000 IN CMAQ FUNDS TRANSFERRED TO SECTION 5307 IN FY2021 TO ASSIST IN THE ACQUISITION OF UP TO EIGHT (8) 40-FOOT BATTERY-ELECTRIC BUSES TO REPLACE EXISTING VEHICLES IN THE FLEET THAT HAVE SURPASSED THEIR USEFUL LIFE.PROJECT WILL SUPPORT CONGESTION REDUCTION AND THE ELECTRIC-BATTERY BUSES WILL SUPPORT AN IMPROVEMENT IN AIR QUALITY.
